The story of Duende

Our Villa is called Duende, but what does it mean? Duende is on of those impossible to translate words, that relates to the "state of bliss or spell" that a (flamenco) artist comes in during a perfor-mance. It has something magical, just like our villa.

If you want to withness the Duende for yourself, go to a flamenco show in Granada, were the culteral heart of the Gypsys is to be found in the Sacromonte area.

THE VILLA IS FITTED FOR 10 PEOPLE: 5 SEPERATE BEDROOMS/4 BATHROOMS

THE MAIN HOUSE
	Living Area The main part of the house is built primarily on one level making for easy day to day living. The living area is very cosy, with a wood stove and comfortable couches. A Full HD Sony Bravia TV, sattelite and DVD player / Surround sound system keeps you or the kids happy.
	The sitting area opens up fully to the large covered porch, with invites indoor-outdoor living. The dining table can accomodate for 10 and is adjerent to the semi-open kitchen to the right.
	Kitchen The semi open plan kitchen is well fitted for the cooking enthousiast, with a large gass-stove, an oven and a microwave. Plenty of cooking pans, cutelery and glassware is provided, and for convienence a dishwasher is available. Nex to the kithchen is a practical utility room, with colthing washer and dryer.
	Master Bedroom + Ensuite bathroom The very spacious Master bedroom has ample closets for storing clothes. Wake up in the morning with the sun shining though the window...
	The bathrooms are in travertin stone, with a very luxourious, yet practical finish. Relax in the bath or take an envigorating shower (other side of the room) the choise is up to you.
	Twin bedroom in main house + Bathroom 2 The second bedroom is perferct for kids or friends. Of the far wall there is a wall-wide clothing closet as well.
	The seperate second bathroom is made in the same luxurious tiling and provides a comfortable shower.
	Extra Bedroom w/Sofabed sleeps 2 (sharing bathroom with twin room) If you have a need for a 5th bedroom, the bureau is fitted with a comfortable sofa bed and is completly separate from the other rooms. The bathroom can be shared with the twin room (entrance is across the hall).


LA CASITA
	Seperate appartment for 2 On the other side of the pool is a wonderful self contained guest house complete with a kitchen, sitting room, double bedroom and a luxurious ensuite bathroom. There is even a covered porch. This set up is ideal for people that want to maintain their own space.
	The kitchen of the casita provides everything you need.
	The bedroom of the casita is a cosy setting for a couple, with a queen size bed and ample room in the cuppboards.
	The bathroom of the casita is luxurious and offers a bath and a shower.


THE STUDIO
	Twin Room below the terrace Below the main house there is a separate studio right off of the garden and pool area. Guests love staying here as they have their own privacy and space. .
	The bed can be made up as twin or as double. There is a ensuite bathroom provided as well.
